Coffee has always been my favorite drink ever since I was young. When I finally moved out of my parents house and went to college, I decided to get myself an espresso machine. An espresso machine is a home appliance that brews coffee by forcing pressurized hot water through ground coffee and a filter producing a thick concentrated coffee commonly referred to as an espresso. Being a student with a tight budget did not deter me from acquiring the home appliance as I quickly googled the best espresso makers to buy and got some pretty affordable ones on Craigslist.
Some of the espresso machines that were highly ranked by users on the web to be efficient, durable, affordable and of high quality included: The Breville BES870 barista express espresso machine which won the Best New Product Awards 2013 for the coffee or tea preparation and serving equipment(consumer) held in Boston on April 11-14, 2013. Consumers mostly loved it for its extra feature of temperature control that results in accurate brew water temperature. It retails for around 400 dollars and to me, that was one of the best espresso makers to buy. The other espresso machine I stumbled upon during my search was the Rancilio Silvia Machine.
This particular machine impressed me so much because of its professional quality. It’s strong iron-made body, beautiful design, durability, commercial made components and price range got me wondering if i was in a dream! It was very easy to use with only three buttons for brew, hot water and steam. Lastly, the Gaggia 14101 Classic espresso machine built in Italy. I found this particular espresso machine to have the best quality of price and another added advantage was that you can either use coffee grounds or pods.
With all said and done, my top recommendations for the best espresso makers to buy are the Breville BES870XL Barista Express, Rancillio HSD-SILVIA and the Gaggia 14101 Classic.
